Planning Supervision
Allen
Stewart Partnership have offered Planning Supervision services since the introduction
of the CDM regulations in March 1995 and consequently have been able to gain
vast experience of key importance in the understanding of:
- The need to keep paperwork brief and to the point
- The importance of the Operating and Maintenance manuals to the client.
- Alleviating the client of any Health and Safety issues.
The Planning Supervisor will
do this in the following ways:
- Give advice on the competency and adequacy of resources to potentional appointees in respect of Health and Safety
- Ensure any designs include adequate regard to risks to Health and Safety.
- Prepare the pre-tender or pre-construction Health and Safety plan.
- Advise as necessary on Health and Safety matters as the work proceeds on site.
A Planning Supervisor is appointed in addition to the safety officer and consultants and will be in place to ensure that a structured operational and control framework is in place.
